Megan Myatt, System Recruitment and Relations
Megan Myatt is the Director of System Recruitment and Relations. In her role, Megan is responsible for prospective student recruitment for the Office of the Chancellor.
She manages the Chancellor’s Top Scholar program, a strategic recruitment initiative that actively recruits students who have been admitted to the university with a score above 1500 on their SAT. She also works very closely with the Chancellor to recruit many special populations of prospective students.
In addition, Megan coordinates special events for the Office of the Chancellor and the Board of Regents. She also serves as the advisor for the Chancellor’s Ambassador student organization, which is comprised of approximately 65 students.
Prior to joining the office, Megan was a recruiter for the Office of Admissions at Texas Tech University.
Megan grew up in the hill country area and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2008, earning a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She’s currently pursuing her master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. Her husband, Jake Myatt, is also a Texas Tech graduate and farmer in Hockley County.
