| The Campus Beautification Project will enhance the beauty of the Broadway Entrance with new trees, sidewalks and lighting. The Texas Tech seal & fountain at the Broadway Entrance will also be upgraded with new paving, seating, lighting and plantings. The project will also upgrade the landscaping adjacent to the Dairy Barn from the English, Philosophy, and Education buildings to the Library. The upgrades will include new trees, sidewalks, seating areas and lighting. The large trees will not be planted until Fall 2014. Phase II, Urbanovsky Park will add new jogging trails, lighting and landscaping; new concrete basketball courts and new sand volleyball courts; a pavilion with a BBQ; new picnic areas with seating; and a new aerated pond. |
