Six Callers Surpass the $25,000 Goal

Six Annual Fund callers were recently honored at the annual $25,000 Pyramid Luncheon for raising $25,000 for student scholarships at Texas Tech.
Jesse Campana, an accounting major from Fort Worth; Christina Hall, a managment major from Houston; Abby Spears, an advertsing major from Fort Worth; Ana Tapia, and International Business major from San Antonio; Emily Threet, a public relations major from Colorado Springs, CO and Jordan Williams, a communications major from San Antonio each received an engraved award displaying their achievement.
The student callers were treated to lunch at Skyviews Restaurant by the Annual Fund staff and were seated along side the Dean's of their prospective colleges and the Institutional Advancement leadership team members. Christina Hall was also acknowledged for exceeding the $50,000 mark by having a Double-T engraved beside her name on the awards plaque in the call center.
The Annual Fund raises money for the 13 schools and colleges at Texas Tech. The deans use this money to provide student scholarships. The $25,000 Pyramid Luncheon is a semi-annual event to recognize the callers efforts. Students who reach the $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 levels are awarded individual lunches with various Texas Tech administration officials.
