CIO Council

The CIO Council plays an important role in advancing the technology objectives of the Texas Tech University System. This Council is made up of the Chief Information Officers of Texas Tech University System Administration, Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Angelo State University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso and the executive IT administration for all institutions. Based on a shared governance model, the role of the CIO Council is primarily strategic oversight of the entities that comprise the Texas Tech University System.
