TechNET Application Instructions
Please read all instructions before continuing. This form is for requesting both Mainframe access and SQL Server Data Warehouse Access
Currently a printed copy is needed for the approval process. Please print a copy of the application and fill it out.

Fill in your Name, Department, Title, Social Security Number, Mail Stop Number and Telephone Number. If your location is at the HSC or a RAHC, provide your department mailing address on the ADDRESS line.

Check the appropriate box to either add a user, change access, inform of department change with name of previous department, or delete the userid.

Check the boxes of the systems you want to access. If the system(s) you are requesting is not listed, use the box marked OTHER system(s) and specify which system(s) you are needing access to.

For TECHFIM access, mark the appropriate box(es). If you are unsure of the access you need in TECHFIM, call the TECHFIM Coordinator at 742-3255 x229 for TTU applicants or 743-1888 x264 for TTU HSC applicants. Users requesting transaction entry (TDDB) are required to print and submit a TDDB Approval Form. Submit both the TDDB Approval Form and the TechNet Application Form to Technet Account Administration at MS 3051. For questions regarding TechNet access, call 742-3327.

Users will receive their Techris userid and password in the Technet "Memorandum" you will receive once your access has been approved. To access the Techris system, please refer to the Techris User Guide at www.techrisguide.ttu.edu. Print and/or save this step-by-step training guide and reference manual. Allow approximately one hour for your initial self-guided orientation and training tour. If you have any questions, you may contact the TTU Techris Coordinator at 742-3851 x227 or the HSC Techris Coordinator at 743-2865.

To print out this form. (Before printing go to FILE --> PAGE SETUP and change the top and bottom margins to .25" and remove any headers and footers.) Don't forget to sign the application. Unsigned applications will be returned.

A signature of departmental approval is required. That signature must be the applicant's supervisor who has signature authority for that department.
NOTE
If you change departments, your previous access will be deleted.
A new application must be submitted by your new department. On an
employee's last day of work, the employing department should request
deletion of the employee's access as prescribed in OP 70.19, VOL. III.
