Services

The Office of Communications and Marketing helps showcase the great things happening throughout the Texas Tech University System and its component institutions to the rest of the world. It is our role to help promote the missions, programs, activities, people and educational atmosphere of the central administration and our multiple universities.

Consisting of communications, media relations, marketing, design and web professionals, our team offers the following services to the campus community:

News Releases

News releases provide the latest information about the events, initiatives and accomplishments of the Texas Tech University System and its component institutions. Serving as a fundamental channel to notify the general public and media, the news release allows us to keep our friends, family and supporters informed about what’s happening throughout the organization. To read some of our previous new releases, visit our News page. Learn more about TTU System news by requesting to receive emails from texastech.systemnews@ttu.edu.

Media Relations

We serve as the liaison between the Texas Tech University System upper administration and the media. Our office helps communicate the messages of the organization's leaders to our community, state, region, nation and world by working with media outlets, as well as developing and building relationships with print, broadcast and digital media contacts. To get in touch with our leaders for a story, statement or interview, contact us at (806) 742-0057.

Video Production

Videos are a great medium to show friends, family and supporters what is going on at our universities. Our office directs and helps produce various videos, ranging from the Texas Tech University institutional commercial to four minute features on distinguished alumni.

Graphic Design

Publications present a variety of information in a professionally-designed and creative fashion.  From reporting to fundraising, publications support numerous efforts by delivering a distinctive message to your intended audience through the strategic incorporation of striking visuals and compelling text. Contact us for your graphic design needs.

Visual Identity Guidelines

Established in 2005, our identity guidelines helps the Texas Tech University System and its component institutions tell our stories with a unified image, message and voice.  The TTU System's integrated visual identity system makes your job easier and reflects the great things happening here.
