GLENNA GOODACRE (AMERICAN)

College of Human Sciences
Glenna Goodacre’s sculpture of a mother and child represents
the hopes and dreams of those who settled our country. This
sculpture is a fitting tribute to Maxine Blankenship, loving wife,
mother, and grandmother, a woman of quiet determination
and strength who possessed a love for art and beauty.

ADELA ANDEA (ROMANIAN BORN AMERICAN)
Flex neon, steel and foam
College of Human Sciences
This immersive installation, Primordial Garden, suggests an
idealized form of nature, an original state or a mysterious
point of inception. Inspired by the dichotomy of the concept
natural versus artificial, this art installation contemplates
positively on the necessity of progress and technological
advances and considers the impact of human actions on our
natural environment.
The installation is meant as a motivating environment for the
viewers. The creativity of the spectator is stimulated through
the promising optimism of innovation and technological
progress. The artwork should be a beacon for the unlimited
possibilities of the human mind.
