Darbey Sinklier

Coordinator
Darbey Sinklier is the coordinator for the Office of Governmental Relations at Texas Tech University Systems. Sinklier joined the TTU System in September 2022 and assists with the development and implementation of a strategic initiative for federal and state priorities.
Prior to joining the governmental relations team, Sinklier coordinated Texas Tech University’s Congressional Internship Program where she was responsible for day-to-day operations and establishing and executing strategic planning objects for the program. Sinklier participated in the program as a student in the fall of 2020 when she interned for Representative Kevin Brady in Washington, D.C.
An Abernathy, Texas native, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in agricultural communications with a minor in agribusiness and political science in 2021 and is currently pursuing her MBA.
Sinklier and her husband, Christian, married in August 2022.
