March 26, 2020 | TTU System Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

TTU System Coronavirus information

March 26, 2020

Dr. Tedd L. Mitchell issued Thursday (March 26) the following update to Texas Tech University System Administration employees on the latest developments on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Letter from Chancellor Mitchell:

Dear TTU System Administration team:

Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.

As we begin to wrap up the week, I wanted to share a quick message and see how everybody is doing as we adjust to working remotely.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we have quickly shifted from Phase II to Phase III and now into Phase IV of our operational phases during the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been challenging for everybody, but at the same time I’m extremely proud of our leadership, teamwork and how everyone has adapted to our modified work environments while supporting each other.

It should be no surprise that members of our Ram and Red Raider families are stepping up to address these challenges.

With that being said, I want to hear from you – is there anything I or our leadership team can do to help you? What difficulties have you experienced this past week or foresee in the near future? Or, what are ways you have overcome challenges that other team members may benefit from hearing?

These are challenging times; please know that we are here to listen and to help. We are all in this together – as a family and a community – and just as we defined in our values culture, our people come first.

Feel free to send me your feedback at my email address below. We are here for you and welcome your questions and concerns. I hope this letter finds you well and that you continue to take care of yourself and your family.

Warmest regards,

Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.
Chancellor
