The Texas Tech University System is seeking its fourth Chancellor and invites applications for the position. Serving as the chief executive officer, the Chancellor is responsible for the executive management and oversight of the TTU System, which includes four component institutions and a central administration.
A Chancellor Search Committee was appointed by the Board of Regents, following an announcement by Chancellor Kent Hance of plans to retire in 2014. Assisting in this effort is executive search firm Wheless Partners.
