Dedication of the Bruno Sculpture and Plaza

side Image

The Bruno Sculpture and Plaza honors Robert Bruno, a former faculty member at the College of Architecture. Made of steel, the sculpture is reminiscent of one of Bruno's more notable projects, “Steel House” located in Ransom Canyon.

Join us for the dedication of the Bruno Sculpture and Plaza during the Texas Tech University College of Architecture's convocation. The sculpture is the newest addition to the Public Art Program at the Texas Tech University System.

Texas Tech University System and Texas Tech University leadership, as well as members of Robert Bruno's family will be present. Remarks will be made on Bruno's influence on Texas Tech University, art and architecture.

This event is free and open to the public. The ribbon cutting will be held on the corner of 18th Street and Flint Avenue in front of the Architecture Building. It will be moved inside in the case of inclement weather.
