Angelo State Presidential Search Update
Dear Ram Fam,
I hope you and your families are doing well.
In early May, we launched our nationwide recruitment process to find the next president of Angelo State University. I’m pleased to provide you with a brief update about the search, which has received significant interest across the nation and closer to home.
To date, the search committee has already received more than 50 applications. Another dozen or so individuals have either been nominated by others or expressed interest directly. Our search committee has generated its own names and nominations as well to further develop a strong candidate pool in our national search.
Many of you have provided input during this time, and we’re grateful for your guidance and support. As you may know, we have an initial application deadline of June 15 on the horizon, and after that period, the search committee will begin reviewing applications and conducting interviews with qualified applicants.
Before that deadline, we’d welcome any additional input or nominations. If someone you know would like more information, please direct them to this video and website, or have them reach out by email at ttus.angelostate.pressearch@ttu.edu.
Please know that we are dedicated to finding a visionary leader who not only has the qualifications, experiences and credentials for the position, but someone who understands, embraces and advocates for the uniqueness and culture of Angelo State University and the San Angelo community.
