| The existing plant will receive new chilled water & heating water equipment, gas-fired boilers, heating water pumps, condenser water pumps, and plate-and-frame heat exchangers. New adiabatic coolers will be added to the condenser side of the chilled water system to increase energy efficiency and reduce water consumption. The existing electrical equipment and BAS system will also be upgraded and modified. Piping will be configured to obtain more flexibility & redundancy between the chillers, chilled water pumps & condensing fluid pumps.
The Building Automation System will be upgraded as part of the project. All chilled water and heating water coils will receive automatic flow control valves to help balance the water flow and distribute the utilities as efficiently as possible. Retro-Cx and TAB will be completed to ensure all systems function as intended. |
