Anita Patel

As a steadfast advocate for putting people first through kindhearted leadership, Patel aims to cultivate an environment where her team members feel valued and supported as they reach their full potential.

She began her career working within the Texas Tech University System (TTU System) in 2006. Patel has held roles at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the TTU System Office of General Counsel. In 2025, the Office of Leader & Culture Development (L&CD) recruited Patel to share her passion for developing strong, values-based leaders across our five universities and the System Administration team. In her role, Patel aligns her passion with the L&CD Office’s purpose of growing the capacity and capability of everyone who uses their programs.

Outside of her professional career, Patel enjoys spending time with her two sons and precious cat, reading inspiring books on developing leaders and self-improvement, and being in nature.
