Texas Tech University System Regulations


Texas Tech University System Regulations (TTU System Regulations) establish systemwide requirements that support governance, operational efficiency and consistent administration across the organization in alignment with the Board of Regents’ Rules, state and federal statutes, and direction from system leadership. These regulations provide the directives, procedures, interpretations and reporting requirements necessary to ensure uniform application and compliance, while also promoting best practices and addressing matters not specifically covered by the Regents’ Rules or institutional policy.

Additionally, TTU System Regulations ensure consistent adherence to fiscal, academic, research, employment and other standards required by federal or state law or external regulatory authorities. Each TTU System Regulation is assigned to a functional area and corresponding administrative office within TTU System Administration and is reviewed periodically.
