Jason R. Weber

Vice Chancellor for Leader & Culture Development
Jason Weber serves as the vice chancellor for Leader & Culture Development for the Texas Tech University System. In this role, Dr. Weber collaborates with teams across the TTU System to operationalize a shared values-based culture and design leader development programs tailored for students, staff and faculty. A credentialled executive and professional coach, he works closely with leaders across each of the system’s component universities to elevate leadership capability and strengthen team effectiveness.
In 2025, Dr. Weber was inducted into the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Hall of Fame as a Servant Leader Exemplar, recognizing his sustained commitment to advancing servant leadership in practice, scholarship and organizational culture.
Prior to joining the TTU System, Dr. Weber served as the Enterprise Training and Development Director for the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration, where he led a team of training and instructional design professionals supporting 21 state agencies and a workforce of more than 40,000 employees. He has also held roles in higher education as a faculty member, program coordinator and campus administrator.
Dr. Weber earned a doctorate in leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in criminal justice leadership from Concordia University–Saint Paul, and bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and psychology from Evangel University.
Dr. Weber and his wife, Lisa, were married in 2005 and have five children and three rescue dogs.
