Auto Collisions and Claims

All incidents or collisions involving state vehicles must obtain a police report.  All incidents should be reported within the first 24 hours.  Auto claims are processed through the Office of Risk Management at the Texas Tech University System.

Charter/Donor Provided Aircraft

Regents’ Rule Sec. 07.11.06 requires prior approval of the Chancellor for charter aircraft and other private aircraft usage, which has been delegated.  Air Charter must follow requirements and vetting processes through Contracting and Procurement, as well as TTUS Risk Management.

Workers’ Compensation

The Texas Tech University System self-funds these exposures through the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) in Austin.  Notification of any incident should occur within the first 24 hours. All forms are processed through the Office of Risk Management at the Texas Tech University System.
