Assistant General Counsel

Campbell Roper serves as an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the Texas Tech University System. Campbell handles a wide-variety of legal matters, including litigation, employment and faculty matters, health care law, contracts, and student-related issues.

Prior to joining our team, Campbell worked in private practice for a prominent civil litigation law firm in Houston, Texas. In this role, Campbell focused on cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, industrial workplace injuries, products liability, commercial contracts, cargo and freight disputes, and debt collection.

Campbell graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2016, with degrees in Classics and Communication studies, and then earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2019.
