I hope you, your family and your loved ones are healthy and safe at this time. As we prepare for the upcoming academic year, I know there have been a lot of questions recently about the COVID-19 vaccine and also about the virus variants that are present across the country and in our communities.
I’d like to invite you to a virtual event at 12:30 p.m. CT (11:30 a.m. MT) on Wednesday, Aug. 18, hosted by our health-related institutions, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
"This is Your Shot: Vaccine Facts & Science” is a virtual town hall that will feature a panel of trusted health care leaders and experts from both universities who will provide facts and information about the COVID-19 vaccine.
