MSU Texas Presidential Search Update

Dear Midwestern State University family,
As our work on the Midwestern State University Presidential Search Committee gets underway, we want to sincerely thank all of you who attended the campus town hall meetings last week to share your thoughts on selecting the next leader of our university. During these sessions, you gave input that is extremely valuable to the committee and will help us find the best candidate possible for this leadership role.
As the process continues, we are confident the person who ultimately fills this role will be someone who builds on the legacy of excellence at MSU Texas and its reputation as a leader in liberal arts. The visionary individual also should be ready to lead the university into its next century – and beyond – through a period of innovative, collaborative success and growth.
From your input, we found many of the characteristics you mentioned as crucial for this position centered around three main themes:
