Since the start of FY 2012 the fee for base telephone services has been handled via
either an annual Communication Fee for TTU or a monthly Communication Fee for TTUHSC.
This Communication Fee was established by the CFOs and CIOs for TTU and TTUHSC to
stabilize funding during the VoIP transition regardless of which technology departments
were currently on. With the transition scheduled for completion during FY 2015 the
CFOs and CIOs will begin the process of determining the post transition funding method
for telephone services in the March 2015 timeframe.
