Scheduled Maintenance Windows
Technology Operations and Systems Management (TOSM) has identified the following maintenance windows to be used for upgrades, testing, patch application, and other potential downtime for all systems hosted at TOSM.
- Saturday 6pm until Sunday 6am
- Sunday 6pm until midnight Monday
- Thursday following the second Tuesday of each month from 8am – 5pm (Microsoft’s patch Tuesday - * applies to test systems only * )
Although we do not anticipate the need to use the maintenance windows during each occurrence and will make every effort to maximize uptime, TOSM occasionally needs a designated time period to perform maintenance. TOSM feels it necessary to publish these potential windows to give as much advanced notice to our customers of possible downtime. Additional announcements will be sent at least 48 hours prior to any scheduled maintenance informing our customers of the work to be performed, the systems affected, and the anticipated time needed before returning to normal operations. In the case of emergency maintenance, as much advanced warning as possible will be given.
