International Travel
Texas Tech University System partners with On Call International to provide global travel assistance for students, faculty, and staff traveling on approved system-related travel, assignments, programs, or business. Coverage includes emergency and non-emergency support, such as:
- Medical, travel, and security assistance (including evacuation and repatriation)
- Coordination of medical care and payment by On Call on your behalf
- Emergency travel arrangements for you or a designated person for certain emergency circumstances
Before You Travel
- Add On Call International to the mobile device by scanning the QR code in the Aerogami Client Download Guide
- Visit the Resource Hub for orientation videos and detailed information
- Complete all required travel registration procedures with your home campus
No enrollment required - coverage is automatic for TTU System-related international travel. If proof of coverage is required by a consulate, such as for a visa application, connect with your home campus to obtain a Proof of Coverage Letter.
While Traveling
Contact On Call International 24/7 via collect call, email, or text for:
- Medical care
- Travel issues
- Emergencies or security crises
After returning, visit the Resource Hub for instructions on filing a claim.
Important Notes
- CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) insurance is not included. Consider purchasing flight insurance separately
- Review the Plan ID and Program Summary document carefully before departure
